Mexican pianist Miguel-Gerardo Brito is a graduate from Master of Music program in Collaborative Piano Performance at the University of Toronto (2018) where he was a pupil of Professor Steven Philcox. Miguel’s studies at the University of Toronto were made possible with the sponsorship from the “Scholarship Program for Studies Abroad 2016” from Mexico’s National Fund for Culture and Arts in cooperation with Mexico’s National Council for Science and Technology (FONCA-CONACYT 2016). Miguel, since the end of his music studies, has continued collaborating with choirs, vocalists and instrumental players in the Toronto area while having a full roster of piano private piano students in music academies and in his home studio.
"It is a unique experience to be five feet away from such high quality, accomplished musicians performing for a small group in an intimate setting."
"I've played so many different venues since my first festival performance in 1976 but must say that the second night of my two day run in your living room, an acoustic 6 song set of original music on 6 different instruments with double bass accompaniment while focusing on the source of my creative inspiration, remains my favouritest gig ever :) "
Right now only single seats can be reserved with single purchase. We're looking to improve this ASAP. If you'd like to purchase a block of seats, please contact joanna@joannagrace.ca to send an e-transfer.
These concerts are best suited for those who can remain quiet during the performance. The environment is more like a blend between a living room and a concert hall. Talking during the music is not suitable. However, there will be an intermission to linger with other audience members and also a Question and Answer session at the end to connect with the performers.
A receipt is all that's needed once you've purchased a ticket for an in-person concert. You may either print your receipt or show us a digital copy at the door.
Please note there are no alcoholic beverages or food for sale.
Water and light refreshments are included with your ticket.

I'm Joanna Grace! I founded the Clearly Musical Home Concerts in 2016 to bridge the gap between audences and performers and to enrich appreciation in sharing sound space. Shortly after starting this immersive concert series, I received the "Emerging Creative Talent" from the Creative Industries of Richmond Hill .
Now in West Toronto, these concerts invite you to experience music as if you were in a living room among friends. Every concert includes an immersive musical experience followed by a Question & Answer period for the audience to connect with the musicians.
